How does a 5K race make a huge impact on the global movement to end breast cancer forever?
Through the fundraising efforts of every participant.
Registration fees pay for the event but personal giving and fundraising is what enables Komen to save lives here locally. For this reason, please consider the impact you can make as a donor or fundraiser for the 2009 Race. All you need to do is email everyone in your contact list. Really it’s just that simple. Please help by taking a minute or two of your day to send an email asking others to join and support your efforts in this year’s Race. Taking a few minutes to send one email and raising as little as $77, the cost of a mammogram, can literally saves.
If you registered online, you have been given a Personal Page to help you fundraise. Log into your Race Center here to access your Personal Page to track your fundraising and send emails to your friends, family and co-workers asking for their support. If you do not wish to participate in the Race by registering, but do want to fundraise, you have the option of signing up to become a "Online Fundraiser Only".
If you would like a Fundraising Form to help you keep track of your fundrasing, click here to download one.
