This year marks the 19th year of our local event, the Komen SF Race for the Cure®. On Sunday, September 27, thousands will join together along the beautiful Embarcadero in San Francisco.  Last year, participants generated more than $1 million dollars for the SF Bay Area Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.  That success enabled Komen SF to support 24 community-based organizations that provide breast health services to underserved women, and over $400,000 to Komen's National Award & Research Grant Program.  With your help, we will be able to fund even more programs and research next year. Join the Komen SF Race for the Cure and make a difference!!

Become a Team Captain
We make it easy and fun to organize a team!  And, it’s a great way to spend time with family, friends, colleagues or schoolmates and make a difference in the process.

It only takes 10 people to be considered a team. Any type of group is eligible businesses, families, schools, clubs, faith-based communities, book clubs.....
