Workplace Giving

Many employers provide an easy method for their employees’ charitable giving by participating in United Way, the Combined Federal Campaign or by sponsoring a company payroll deduction campaign. Please check with your Human Resources or Community Relations Department if you would like to direct a donation to our Affiliate.

Many companies also have matching gift programs that will donate a percentage or double a donation you have made to us – whether through your payroll deduction or a direct donation you have made to our Affiliate. If your company will match your gift, please be sure that you designate the "San Francisco Bay Area Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure" on your employer’s gift forms and that the forms are mailed directly to our Affiliate office: 26 O'Farrell Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94108.

Every gift is tax-deductible and the donor receives an acknowledgement of his or her donation. The San Francisco Bay Area Affiliate is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation with the Tax ID #94-3047626.

Federated Appeals (Government Employees)

Federal employees will find Susan G. Komen for the Cure® listed as an option in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Please locate Komen SF Bay Area in the Alpha index or the federation index. Our Affiliate CFC number is 55152. In addition, we participate in numerous state, county, municipal and university employee campaigns.

Workplace Giving (Non-Government Employees)

Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is a member of Community Health Charities which offers payroll-deduction giving options to employees in a number of private firms. If your local United Way campaigns do not list Komen, you may write in the San Francisco Bay Area Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® on the pledge card, along with this address: 26 O’Farrell Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94108.

Matching Gifts

Increase your donation with employer matching funds. Many employers will match your personal donation. Check with your company for more information on matching gift programs. Employer matching gifts may also be available to you if you are the spouse of an employee, a retired employee or the spouse/widow/widower of a retiree.  For a list of companies in the SF Bay Area that participate in matching gifts programs here.
