RACE TEAM FAQS

What is the minimum team size?
Teams must have at least ten (10) team members. Of course, there is NEVER any maximum team size!

How should teams members register?
ONLINE. It’s easier for you, your team members, and us. Online registration also allows each team member to establish a personalized online fundraising page, set a goal and start fundraising early to help end breast cancer forever!

What are the registration fees for team members?
Registration fees for all online registrants are $30 for un-timed participants in the 5K or 1 Mile, $35 for timed participants in the 5K run, $10 for youths (ages 6 – 12) $35 for Sleep In for the Cure participants. The Race is free for children ages 5 and under*.   Registration fees increase on September 16 for $35 for un-timed participants and $40 for timed participants (Sleep In and Kids for the Cure rates remain the same).

*All Children 5 & under may participate in the Race for free, but they must be officially registered for the Race and a parent or guardian must sign the Race Release form. Children 5 & under will not receive a free official Komen SF Race for the Cure® T-shirt.

Can you guarantee my team members' shirt sizes?
We do our best to order sufficient t-shirts in a variety of sizes (Adult Small, Medium, Large and Extra-Large and Youth Small and Medium). Despite our best efforts, sometimes we do run out of certain sizes and-- some years-- completely out of t-shirts. This is one of the reasons we strongly recommend stopping by the t-shirt tent with your Race bib before the Race!

Can I pick up my team’s t-shirts before the Race?
No, each team member is responsible for claiming their own Race t-shirt.  You may pick up someone else’ t-shirt only if you have their Race bib #.
