How to Apply for Funding

Major Grants Program

Major Grants Program for the 2012-2013 Program Year Now Closed

Only ITA applicants who have submitted a complete ITAA by the September 30, 2011 deadline will be considered for submission of a major grant application. ITAAs will be reviewed by the Affiliate’s Grants Committee, and organizations will be notified by Friday October 14, 2011 as to whether they will be invited to submit a grant application. Organizations invited to submit a major grant application must do so by Wednesday, December 14, 2011.

Over the past years, Komen SF Bay Area has worked diligently to identify the most urgent needs of the communities we serve. The results are outlined in this year’s ITAA instructions.  Additionally, we are strongly encouraging organizations to collaborate to provide clients with access to comprehensive breast health programs that will allow them to successfully navigate through the Continuum of Care.

If you have any questions about our grants process, please email grantsintern@komensf.org
